Top celebrities who tweet aka glorified text self promotion

Having written so much about texting, it’s pretty obvious that tweeting is nothing more than glorified texting where worshipping strangers and fans are listening to glorified celebrity texts aka tweets.  If I was a tweet worshipper which I am not, I would probably follow someone that I was attracted to.  That’s not the usual though.  Popular celeb tweeters get followed not just for their looks but for their ability to engage people.  They are usually the ones who are candid, loyal and receptive to their fans, and keeping shameless self promotion to a minimum even though each and every tweet is in essence self promotional blabbing.

Yahoo TV choose this list of some thirty tweeting blabbing celebrities as fan favorites.  If you’re lacking in the friend department you can always fan follow some celebs and sign up to have their tweets come into your smart phone.  Yep, sign up for some celebrity text tweeting spam because gee you really need it to fill your phone.  What did you just get dumped, add some celebrity noise to your phone.  Try these ones that Yahoo likes.

Do you agree with Yahoo?

Neil Patrick Harris? Come on. So not into tweeting. I’d rather see the texts that Tiger Woods was sending to his mistress than what Neil Patrick Harris has to say, and that is not saying much. Some people love these fellows though so you can’t know it. It takes some pretty good tweeting to stand out in the tweet universe so kudos to all those that make Yahoo’s list including Neil Patrick Harris. Did you notice that couples are conspicuously absent? Guess every one is tired of Demi and Ashton in the tweetiverse. What seems to be in vogue right now is good humor, popular television stars, and celebs that actually have things to say. In the tweeting world right now anyways, beauty is out, content is in.
